Hi my beautiful friends. Today I have a super simple nail art for Spring to show you. I was debating whether to make a separate blog post about this design, because it’s something very easy that anyone can make.
After posting my recent Picture Polish swatches, a few people suggested that I make a floral nail art with the beautiful Posey. I thought it was a good idea, but I wasn’t too inspired at that time, so I just kept my nail art very simple. So here it is, my simple nail art for Spring!
After my Picture Polish Posey was dry enough, I took a white nail polish and a medium-size dotting tool to create these simple flowers. I like using Saint Gil no. 02, because it’s quite thick and pigmented. I also added tiny dots in between the flowers with a smaller dotting tool. With a bright yellow nail polish I made the middles of the flowers. At this point the flowers started looking like sunny side up eggs (haha), so I added some silvery/gold glitter. Tiny bit of sparkle can fix anything! To finish everything off, I applied a generous amount of top coat. I currently like using Superchic Lacquer Marvel Liquid Macro top coat.
What do you guys think of these? I told you this was a super simple nail art. I am quite happy with the end result though. The base is very soft and the white flowers give just enough of contrast. I love how the holographic sparkles are peeping through in between the flowers and the bigger hexagonal glitters give even more dimension to this look.
