Hello my beautiful friends. How are you all doing? I am back from my trip and it took my a while to battle the awful jet lag. Things seem to be going back to normal and I am hoping so does my posting schedule. In today’s post I would like to show you a new stamping brand called Lina Nail Art Supplies. Lina, the creator of the brand, has sent me a couple of plates for a review, but I didn’t have the time to post them, so I am sharing my review right now. I received four stamping plates from Lina Nail Art Supplies and Feeling Shapely 07 was probably my favorite out of the bunch. I made three nail art looks with that plate, so let’s take a look.
Lina Nail Art Supplies is based in New Orleans, Louisiana and it’s created by the talented Lina. I can tell that this lady has so many gorgeous ideas. Her creativity shines through the stamping plates she creates and the beautiful design of her products!
The first nail art look is made with a beautiful, simple floral pattern. The base of this stamping nail art is Indigo Lola, which is a gorgeous magenta creme. I love such shades on me and I think this color looks fabulous with the white stamping (I used a stamping polish from Powder Perfect).
The second look is another simple pattern. I used the beautiful Indigo Aquamarina. Isn’t this color just stunning? Keep your eyes peeled on my blog, swatches are coming soon! I stamped this pattern with the Powder Perfect White Stamping Polish again. It’s currently my favorite! This pattern reminds me of some Portuguese tiles, so beautiful!
The last look was made with a cool zig-zag pattern. Firstly, I made a dry brush background using three polishes from Indigo – Aquamarina, Lola and Pink-a-Colada. Then, I stamped the zig-zags with a white nail polish. It seems like I went with white stamping for all these looks! Maybe I could have used black here, because white got a bit ‘lost’ within that background, but I love this messy background together with the geometric pattern.
My experience with the Lina Nail Art Supplies stamping plates can be summed up with just one word – WONDERFUL! I love that the plates are large and fit 30 different stamping designs in one plate. The designs are large enough to comfortably fit on my longer nails, which is a huge plus. Each plate comes packed in a cardboard slot for storage and protection. The quality and the etching on the plates is just superb and the designs were picking up with no problems whatsoever. I also have to mention that the stamping designs are very unique and some of them I have never come across before, so a huge plus for Lina!
